At least three people were injured in a late-night roadside blast near a security officials’ vehicle in Mastung, police said Saturday.
The law enforcement officers said that the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police and security forces cordoned off the area to collect evidence.
The local administration assisted relief workers in providing aid to the blast victims. No group has yet claimed the responsibility for the attack.
Police maintained that the statement would be given after an initial inquiry into the incident.
