The country’s 105 million voters also comprise of political leaders. The following leaders have cast their votes today:
Farooq Sattar:
MQM’s candidate Farooq Sattar cast his vote alongside his wife, earlier this morning in PIB colony, Karachi. He said that despite the security situation in the country he has taken the necessary democratic step and encouraged other party workers to do the same.
Maulana Fazlur-Rehman:
The leader cast his vote in his native village of Abdul Khel in Dera Ismail Khan. While speaking to the media, after casting his vote, Fazlur-Rehman said that casting one’s vote is a responsibility that all citizens should oblige to.
Shahbaz Sharif:

The PML-N President cast his vote in Model Town, Lahore. After casting his vote, he said that Maryam and Nawaz came back to the country knowing full well that the legal proceedings against them were not fair. He said he is cognizant of the fact that most Pakistanis wish to vote for his party and they will prevail once more and Pakistan’s route to prosperity will remain underway.

Both daughters of deceased former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Asifa and Bakhtawar cast their votes earlier this morning.
