RAWALPINDI: Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz’s meeting with their lawyers in Adiala Jail was cancelled today by jail authorities.
Nawaz’s visitors consist of seventeen members of the Sharif family, twenty three workers and leaders of PML-N including Javed Hashmi, Pervez Rasheed and Ayaz Sadiq, and eleven lawyers. However, the meeting with the lawyers has been cancelled and the authorities have claimed that this meeting will be held later on another date.
The visiting hours today for Adiala Jail are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, however, a meeting with any prisoner can only last for 20 minutes.
