LONDON: Former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz was slightly better but not yet out of danger.
Nawaz, in a conversation with the media said that he regretted not being able to visit his wife before June 14, when she was in a conscious state.
The former premier requested the Pakistani nation to pray for his wife’s health.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, earlier on June 14 was placed on life support after suffering from a cardiac arrest.
Nawaz’s wife has been in London, undergoing treatment for throat cancer since the past few months.
Former PM along with his daughter had departed to London on June 14 to celebrate Eid with ailing wife/mother.
Earlier, the doctors had declared Begum Kulsoom’s condition as critical.
