PESHAWAR: Member National Assembly (MNA) Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar on Tuesday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had launched mega development projects, which would bring revolutionary changes in the life of the people in Hazara Division. “We have started work on the airport and Hazara motorway projects, which on completion would bring prosperity and development to the region,” the PML-N leader told reporters here. He said that work on the airport in Tanawal was well in progress and Hassanabdal-Havelian sector of Hazara Motorway had been completed and it would be formally opened to traffic in Mansehra soon. He said that he had also launched hundreds of roads, water and electricity schemes in constituency NA-21. Jurisdiction of KDA: Tehsil Nazim Ibrahim Shah has demanded the government to extend jurisdiction of Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) to entire Balakot tehsil. “Kaghan Development Authority earns huge revenue through tourism in the valley but development funds are being spent in only four union councils, which is unacceptable to us at any cost,” Shah told the council. It was the first meeting of the tehsil council after Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf established its coalition government with the support of a dissident group of PML-N last month.
