GUJRANWALA: A robber was killed in an alleged police encounter while two of his accomplices fled on Sunday. According to police, Aroop police received information that notorious accused Abu Bakar, involved in 20 robberies, was present in Gondlanwala village. A police party raided the village. Seeing the police party the accused and his accomplices started firing to which the police party retaliated in which Abu Bakr was killed. Police have recovered a Kalashnikov rifle and motorcycle from the spot. The deceased had also killed a man few days ago over a minor issue.
