LAHORE: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Pakistan Rangers Punjab, police and intelligence agencies have increased operations in Punjab during the last 24 hours, apprehending several people.
A statement released by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that operations in Lahore resulted in the arrest of a Tehrik-e-Taliban Swat (TTS), illegal Afghan residents and a gang known for its kidnapping activities.
The statement also added that operations have been intensified upon the directions of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
