SHIKARPUR: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Shikarpur, on Friday acquitted former Pakistan People’s Party MPA and district leader Mir Babal Khan Bhayo. Bhayo was nominated in an alleged murder case of Deputy Superintendent Rangers (DSR) Abdul Jabbar Abbasi, the In-charge Rangers Wing Shikarpur, and Rangers Constable Mushtaq Ahmed. According to details, ATC Judge Fida Hussain Mughal acquitted Mir Babal Khan Bhayo after the court found evidence against him inadequate. It should be mentioned that DSR Abdul Jabbar Abbasi and Mushtaq Ahmed were gunned down while another Rangers Constable Asmat Hayat sustained injuries in a gun battle that took place on the Indus Highway near Villager Khahi Mahar in the limits of Garhi Yasin.
