KARACHI: Sindh Food and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro announced on Friday that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will launch ‘Go Nawaz go agitation’ from 23 April 2017 in all districts of Sindh.
While addressing a press conference with PPP leaders Shehla Raza and Rashid Rabbani at Sindh Assembly building, he stated, “What moral authority has been left for Prime Minister to stay as premier after the court judgment that Nawaz would face joint Investigation like Uzair Baloch and other criminals.”
“The nation demands immediate resignation from the Prime Minster over corruption charges as judges of the SC bench have rejected his explanation about Qatari letter and even two senior judges have asked for his immediate disqualification from the post of Prime Minister,” he further added.
The PPP minister informed that they would mobilize masses to press the Prime Minister to resign. “The rulers in Islamabad had already failed to provide proper health, electricity, education and other basic facilities of life to the people, hence the PPP would give a country-wide strike call on 26 April,” he concluded.
