ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, while expressing grave concerns over the appointments of favoured candidates in Central Selection Board (CSB) 2016, said that norms of merit and competence were not adhered to during these appointments.
Sources said that the PM took notice of the appointments that were made in central selection board 2016 on the basis of favouritism.
Reprimanding the top officials, Nawaz said that favourites were appointed and the norms of merit were violated, meanwhile eligible and competent officers were not inducted into the set up.
