LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday said his party will participate in the All Parties Conference (APC) convened by the Pakistan People’s Party over the military courts extension issue.
He told reporters after a meeting with a PPP delegation at his house.
During the meeting former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Moonis Elahi and PPP leaders Samina Khalid Ghurki and Sardar Ali Khan were present.
Saying thanks to the PPP delegation, Shujaat said, “Whenever invited over any matter concerning country, nation and people we have not remained behind and fully participate. Now we will also attend this meeting for evolving consensus over military courts bill. N-League has made the military courts bill controversial by amending it on its own.”
He said that he had raised the objection in the All Parties Conference regarding National Action Plan. He said nobody’s interest should be over and above the national interest.
