LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reportedly completed on Monday the preparations for the presidential election, scheduled to be held tomorrow.
Polling stations have been set up in all four provincial assemblies and in National Assembly as well, sources within the ECP reported.

Accessories related to the event, such as ballot papers and stamps, have been shifted to the polling stations.
According to the reports, the chief justices of high courts will preside over the polling session in assemblies.
The chief election commissioner will serve as the Returning Officer (RO), sources added.
The candidates for presidential slot include Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Dr. Arif Alvi, Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Aitzaz Ahsan.

The name of PPP candidate is at the top of the ballot paper, while Arif Alvi’s name is on the second position and JUI-F chief’s name is printed on the third place, sources further reported.
