LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has rejected Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Abid Sher Ali’s request of recounting in NA-108, Faisalabad.
Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) candidate Farrukh Habib won in NA-108 with a lead of 1200 votes. The PML-N candidate remained runner-up even after recounting in his constituency on 3rd August.
Justice Mamoon ul Rasheed heard Abid Sher Ali’s petition and rejected his request, adding that he could approach a higher forum (Supreme Court) to further his request.
