ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Tuesday said that Pakistan condemns the heartless killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces.
Clashes between Kashmiris and Indian authorities started on the 5th of May and left 14 people dead in different districts in Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
The Foreign Office also said that our thoughts and prayers were with those families who lost their loved ones.
Furthermore, the statement said that Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir has continued to suffer and face violations of human rights over the past 70 years.
We urge the international community to take action against massive violations of human rights taking place in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) by India and to use its influence to bring an immediate end to this.
While unarmed and innocent Kashmiris stage peaceful protests, Indian security personnel resort to the use of dangerous weapons and excessive force which is not acceptable.
Pakistan supports and remains in full solidarity with the people of occupied Jammu & Kashmir. It has also welcomed the strong support demonstrated by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) member states to bring peace in the region.
Pakistan has also called upon the world to play its crucial role in finding a just and long lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute, in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
