LAHORE: At least four militants have been killed in a drone strike near Pak-Afghan border on Thursday.
A suspected United States drone fired two missiles at alleged hideouts of militants in Afghanistan’s Paktia province and killed four militants.
It is the second drone strike in Paktia this week following another strike which reportedly claimed the lives of five alleged Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) militants along with Jamaat-ul-Ahrar chief Umar Khalid Khorasani.
Over 30 people have already been killed in a recent spate of drone strikes within a close range to the Pak-Afghan border.
However, the foreign minister Khawaja Asif and the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) both have denied drone strikes inside the Pakistani territory by saying that Pakistan’s airspace had not been violated.
