GUJRANWALA: Hundreds of female students of a private college protested against genocide of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and the silence of the international community on the issue. The protesters held a rally from their college to Satellite Market and shouted slogans against the government and armed forces of Myanmar. They appealed to the international community to play its role to stop the killings.
Separately, a man was crushed to death by a train at Sialkoti gate railway line. The 22-year-old man was crossing the railway line when a train crushed him to death. The identity of the deceased is yet to be known.
Meanwhile, a youth was injured by robbers for resisting a robbery bid on Nowshera Road.
Younas, a resident of Gujrat, was going with his family when two armed men intercepted them. When Younas showed resistance the robbers opened fire, resultantly Younas was injured.
