KARACHI: Sindh Rangers have rejected the allegations leveled by Dr Asim that he was drugged by the investigation team while recording his confessional statement. According to a Rangers spokesperson, all such allegations leveled by Dr Asim against the investigation team were “lies”. The spokesperson said that Dr Asim was currently on bail while cases against him were sub judice. Dr Asim never leveled such allegations during detention or hearing of the case, the spokesperson stated. “We refute the allegations leveled by Dr Asim as they run contrary to facts,” the Sindh Rangers spokesperson said. It is vital to mention here that Dr Asim leveled allegations that he was drugged during confessional statement.
