NAUDERO: The Sindh Health Minister has directed the immediate hand over of administrative control of the Rural Health Center (RHC) in Naudero to Integrated Health Services (IHS).
This was stated in a letter sent out by the Sindh Health Services Hyderabad Directorate Director General to the Larkana District Health Office.
The letter further added that the matter of transference of the Naudero RHC was pending. The area’s residents pointed out that the provincial government has always claimed to be in power only due to the sacrifices of martyred Bhutto clan members. However, it was now crystal clear that they did not care to manage and run an RHC in the Bhutto family’s hometown in a proper manner for the benefit of poverty-stricken people, they added.
A former Pakistan People’s Party office bearer told sources that PPP leaders had always trumpeted that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s vision was to give top priority to health and educations sectors, however both these sectors stood neglected in the province. He called the situation a pity noting that the handing over of the Naudero RHC to the IHS was a vivid proof of this.
