KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) suspended the basic membership of Shahid Pasha for violating party discipline, read a statement issued by the party on Monday.
Pasha had issued various statements to the media, which is a violation of party discipline, and it resulted in his suspension by the Rabita Committee.
Moreover, the other party members are directed by the Rabita Committee not to contact Pasha until the issuance of further notice.
Reportedly, after Farooq Sattar’s reunification with the Rabita Committee, the party has reduced roles of certain members.
