BAHAWALPUR: 119 police cadets completed a wireless training course (WTC) on Thursday.
Punjab Police Telecommunication SSP Shahid Javid was the chief guest on the occasion. Superintendent Police Rab Nawaz, Training School Principal DSP, Khawaja TughralZamir and the parents of the cadets were also present. Shahid Javid asked the police force to adhere to their oath of responsibility. Healso distributed awards and certificates among the exemplary cadets. Earlier, the chief guest was presented a guard of honour.
Separately,Lodhran District and Sessions Judge Munir Ahmed Joiya visited Bahawalpur Borstal Institute and Juvenile Jail. He also listened to the problems faced by the inmate children and issued on-the-spot directions. The judge inspected the kitchen, jail hospital, Johar Hall, Iqbal Hall, and table tennis room for the inmates. A smartly turned out contingent of police presented a guard of honour to the judge.
