RAWALPINDI: Scam declaring three female candidates as having passed the Educators recruitment process despite their non appearance in the interview has come to light.
According to media reports, the officers conducting the interviews and tests in the educators’ recruitment at Rawalpindi division have marked present three female candidates who were not present during the interview of the candidates Rawalpindi Division.
An application has been forwarded to the deputy commissioner alleging that interviews are shown to have been conducted by District Education Authority Committee of those candidates who were not even present in Rawalpindi.
Moreover, the applicant also hinted at incompetence, negligence and the involvement of committee members due to which the absent candidates have been declared successful. The applicant has also called for probe into the matter.
Committee Member Mubashir Ahmed while giving his stance said that the committee members didn’t give anything in writing as they had only asked oral questions from candidates. He further said that several women candidates were wearing Burqa, so they could not be recognised.
District Education Officer Qazi Tariq said that an application in this regard has been marked and sent to the CEO, however, no inquiry has been initiated as yet.
