LAHORE: At least 49 suspects were apprehended in a joint search operation in four districts of Punjab on Wednesday.
The operation was conducted by Punjab Rangers, police and intelligence agencies in Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Attock and Rajanpur districts.
Punjab Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Azhar Naveed Hayat Khan along with Sutlej Rangers Commander Brigadier Asim visited different areas of Lahore region to monitor security tasks performed by Rangers and police.
Major General Azhar Naveed Hayat Khan appreciated the efforts of law enforcers to ensure security. He also acknowledged the efforts of police and other law enforcement agencies involved in joint search operation.
