LAHORE: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Mueen Nasar on Wednesday met Promotion of Education in Pakistan (PEP) Foundation Chairman Dr Khalid Iqbal in Islamabad to solicit research funds for various projects in the university.
Dr Nasar requested Dr Iqbal to help establish the centre for economic and social policy at PU as well as establish an endowment fund for scholarships. The PEP chairman promised to fund at least two projects.
The PEP Foundation is currently funding research projects in 57 universities in Pakistan, including the PU.
