KARACHI: Separate rain-related mishaps electrocuted two people in different parts of the city on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, 28-year-old Nawaz died when a high tension wire fell on road in Buffer Zone area, resulting in the running of current in gathered rainwater, claiming the life of Nawaz.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, an eight-year-old child Hassnain was severely electrocuted at his home in Mithadar Railway Colony. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.
