HYDERABAD: Literary circles, writers, poets and youth cadres have paid tribute to the poet of nature, love and romance Hassan Dars on his he 52nd birth anniversary.
Sindh University Jamshoro organised a ceremony in this regard on Wednesday.
The gathering was arranged by literary approached youth to give tribute to the late poet of Sindh.
Baboo Soomro, a student of social sciences, shared that Hassan possessed the power and strength in his words to explore Sindh. “Hassan was a poet of Sindh who worked as a journalist as well; his poetry was based on social, natural science and geography,” he said.
His poem “Sare sindh Pireen jo pacho” rounded towards geography from first stanza, likewise, “Jeko jar ty jaghe tho thoar thoar nind kare tho”, now Romanism “Roz akhyan me khep bhare tho,Karonjhar ty more nache tho,” Soomro added.
Ashok Odhano, a poet and writer, said that “Hassan was the poet of nature and romance. His poetic dictation was totally attached with natural landscapes.”
Hassan Dars’ family, including his wife Eurm Mahboob, his only daughter Rythem Hassan and two sons Rohal Hassan and Roham Hassan expressed their deepest feelings and sentiments on his birth anniversary.
Eurm Mahboob told that she was constantly listening to his poetry sung by different singers, and read “Hassan Dars jo Risalo”
She said that its been 7 years since Hassan left us but as i think, no one has forgotten him. He will always remain in our hearts”
Rohal Hassan shared that he is working on a project in which he will translate his father’s poetry into English and sing them to tribute him.
Rythem Hassan and Roham Hassan said; Baba is always alive in our hearts, we still feel that he is with us.
