ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan claimed on Wednesday that the Asghar Khan case held the secrets to Nawaz Sharif’s recent obsession with ‘aliens’.
The cricketer turned politician was addressing a press conference along with estranged legislators from the Janoobi Punjab Sooba Mahaz (JPSM) in Islamabad, and said that Punjab was suffering because of the provincial government’s emphasis on investing solely in Lahore.
He also said that the south of Punjab had suffered from neglect, but the PTI would form a committee to solve the region’s issues.
The PTI leader also said that only those nations succeed which devolve power to the lowest rungs of hierarchy, and vowed to do the same in Pakistan if his party was voted into power.
