Opposition Leader in the Senate and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman Thursday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was constantly putting Pakistan’s national image at stake.
Speaking to the media in the federal capital following the disqualification of foreign minister Kh Asif, the PPP leader recalled that Yousuf Raza Gillani was handed a similar verdict while her party was in power, yet the PPP had accepted the decision. “No one, be it the prime minister or a minister, has the right to hold foreign work permits,” she said. The PPP leader demanded the resignation of Khawaja Asif as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
