DIR: Awami National Party (ANP) Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan said on Thursday that ethics in politics were discontinued the day Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan stepped into it.
“He’s not a man of his words,” he said while addressing a public gathering.
“Did he not say that Nawaz and Zardari were two sides of the same coin?” he questioned.
He said that during the recent Senate elections, Imran Khan directed his party members to vote for Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He claimed that Imran Khan requested PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari to grant the Senate opposition leader seat to him but was refused.
The ANP chief criticised China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), stating that Pashtuns were deprived of their share in it.
