LAHORE: Addressing a press conference on Monday, the father of Zainab, Mohammad Ameen, said he is satisfied with the measures of Punjab Government to arrest the killers of his daughter.
Ameen said that he is optimistic that breakthrough will soon follow. “Zainab’s case should be resolved based on a humanitarian basis and not on political grounds,” he added.
The father of the young victim also revealed that the DNA samples of all his family members have been taken.
Ameen said that he has met the teams constituted by the Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and is satisfied by the progress.
“All the political leaders who met me said that they felt the pain of the tragedy.”
On Sunday, while talking to media, Ameen had expressed his dissatisfaction with the speed with which measures were being taken in the case. He lamented that the matter was not being taken seriously and the process was very slow.
