JARANWALA: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Friday reiterated his support for Tahirul Qadri in his pursuit of ‘justice’ in light of the recently publicised Model Town inquiry tribunal report. “I will not rest until these people are behind the bars … we will make sure Sharif brothers end up in Adiyala Jail,” he told a public gathering in Jaranwala. Imran Khan severely criticised the Punjab government, particularly Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, alleging that Sharif brothers had caused deaths of 14 innocent people in Model town in 2014. Such incidents will increase if silence is maintained, he added. The PTI chief said that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah should be tried for murder as “he is the one who ordered the police to open fire” when 14 sympathisers of PAT were killed in Lahore.
