KHYBER AGENCY: Bomb disposal squad (BDS) disarmed a remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) affixed by unidentified militants to the vehicle of a local media person, on Friday.
Tehsildar Tehseenullah, while sharing details, said that Khalil Jibran, reporter of a private news channel, along with his four colleagues were stopped at a check-point when Khasadar troops noticed a suspicious object hanging down from the vehicle. The men were reportedly on their way to cover a car rally.
A bomb disposal squad arrived at the scene and disarmed the explosive device, he added.
