ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly member Ziaullah Afridi called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari after joining the party. PPP KP president Hamayun Khan, General Secretary Faisal Karim Kundi and Bahramand Tangi were also present.
Ziaullah Afridi said that Asif Ali Zardari had given the Pakhtuns their identity, the National Finance Commission Award and sovereignty to provinces. “The former president’s vision will take the country to new heights of development and prosperity,” he said.
Welcoming Ziaullah Afridi to the PPP, Zardari said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s efforts for the country would be strengthened by Afridi’s decision to join the party.
