GUJRANWALA: A woman was tortured by her brother-in-law in Maraliwala on Thursday.
Ayesha, wife of Irfan, told mediapersons at DHQ Hospital that she wed Irfan five years ago. Later her husband went out of the country for work. She alleged that her husband’s brother Zeeshan tortured her brutally with sticks over a minor issue while other family members shifted her to hospital.
Caught: A thief was caught red-handed and tortured by the citizens at Sheikhupura Chowk. It was told that Shahid khan and his two accomplices tried to steal a packet from a goods transport office. He was caught and tortured while his two companions managed to flee. Later he was handed over to Saddar police.
Raids: FIA teams arrested four human traffickers on Thursday. Sharif, Shahsher Khan, Asadullah Khan and Javed Iqbal were involved in sending people abroad through illegal documents.
Accident: Young girl died while two injured in result of collision between two motorcycles here at Lohianwala Gujranwala. It was told that Abdullah along with his sister Saba and Amara was going on motorcycle when near Lohianwala his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle resultantly they received injuries while Amara died on the way to hospital.
