ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of Foreign Office Nafees Zakaria has said that India is baffled because the whole world knows that India is involved in state terrorism among the sovereign countries of the world.
He said that the statement of the Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadev and the statement of Ehsanullah Ehsan and many other things are there as proof in this regard.
He said that Pakistan is ready to play its role as facilitator for establishing peace in Afghanistan. He said that Pakistan will make efforts so as to bring the warring sections on table for dialogues, saying that Afghan government should also create atmosphere for dialogues so that the people could be agreed to hold talks.
He was expressing these views in an interview with a state-run TV channel. He said that there is need to see the Chaman incident from several aspects.
He said that there is permanent internal war in Afghanistan since last 40 years, consequently, many non-state actors stationed there because of this space, saying that terrorists found place there and some other elements are also there.
He said that misunderstandings between both the countries will not be removed unless Pakistan and Afghanistan will hold talks, saying that as to how it will be possible to control the problems if there will be no talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He said that there is no war between Pakistan and Afghanistan, saying that Afghanistan committed border violation and Pakistan took steps which it had to take. He said that Pakistan is in contact with Afghanistan in this regard.
He said that Afghanistan is war-stricken country and the entire world is deployed there, saying that the world powers have tried for 16 to 17 years and they have seen that nothing could be done and the situation is the same as it was in the past.
He said that Pakistan’s foreign policy is based on peaceful neighbourhood and it wants to move ahead with this foreign policy whether it is India, Afghanistan, Iran or China. He said that it is policy of Pakistan that it wants to see peace in Afghanistan.
