NOWSHERA: Police apprehended three people, including a woman, after a car chase near Nowshera.
The chase started early Sunday, as the driver of the White Toyota bearing registry number CA116 failed to stop after being signaled by the motorway police near Peshawar toll plaza.
Police resorted to firing as the automobile took a U turn towards Swabi, and the car was trailed onto the main road until authorities caught up with the vehicle in Torro, Nowshera.
A man and woman were arrested while a pistol was also recovered from their possession.
No injuries were caused to the occupants of the vehicle or any police official in this incident.
