KARACHI: Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with National Accountability Bureau (NAB), organised a seminar on ‘Role of Youth in Fight Against Corruption’ to mark anti-corruption day.
The bureau’s Karachi Director Major (r) Shabbir Ahmed presented his speech while the university’s Vice-Chairman Hafeezullah Abbasi, Dean M Ali Khwaja and Registrar Captain (r) Syed Waqar also addressed the participants.
The NAB director said that the anti-corruption campaign cannot be successful without the community’s involvement and the society at large. He highlighted the youth’s role’s importance in eradication of corruption.
Abbasi – while addressing the participants – said that moral degradation of the society as a whole, amongst other causes, is the main reason corruption prevails in a society. He reiterated the resolve to eradicate corruption and hold the corrupt accountable.
