PESHAWAR: The politicians of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Thursday, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in PIA plane crash near Abbottabad and expressed sympathies with members of the victims’ families.
PPP leader and former Senior Minister Rahimdad Khan, ANP leader Wajid Ali Khan and PMLN Parliamentary Leader in KP Assembly, Sardar Aurangzaib Nalota said that the entire nation stands united with the members of the victims’ families in this hour of grief. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to bereaved families to bear this loss with patience.
Wajid Ali Khan and Rahimdad Khan demanded a thorough investigation of the PIA aircraft crash in which 47 people, including religious scholar Junaid Jamshed and Deputy Commissioner Chitral Osama Warrich died near Havalians Abbotabad the other day. They also called for providing compensation money to the victims’ families.
