ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) made an announcement on Thursday that July 25 will be a public holiday throughout the country so the voters to exercise their right.
This is the first time the duration for polls has been extended throughout the country so the voters can easily vote in upcoming elections 2018. The timing for polls will be from 8am to 6pm.
However, in case of in a situation of extreme emergency the time for polling can be extended on the day of the election, said in a statement issued by ECP.
The general election will be held on July,25.
