Member National Assembly (MNA) from Kurram Agency Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Sajid Hussain Toori and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz FATA General Secretary Sohail Afridi called on former president Pakistan and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentarians President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Lahore and announced joining PPP.
PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Humayun Khan, Akhundzada Chattan and PPP Peshawar President Saeed Khan were also present on the occasion.
Sajid Toori and Sohail Afridi said that the PPP was the only party which had worked for the people of FATA and had taken steps to allay the difficulties of the people of FATA.
The former president welcoming the new entrants in the party said that the founder of PPP Zulfikar Ali Bhutto used to call FATA a part of paradise. PPP has decided to merge FATA into KP so that people of FATA should also have representation in provincial Assembly.
