ISLAMABAD: Federal Police recovered two suicide jackets among other explosives from Islamabad’s G-14 sector on Saturday.
The police and the bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and defused the explosives after the forces received the information.
Islamabad Police spokesperson said that the recovered jackets carried 6-8 kilograms of explosives. Moreover, 5 hand grenades, 2 pistols and 2 ball-bearings were also recovered.
The forces have cordoned off the area and have initiated a search operation.
