MULTAN: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday said that the party will be elected to power in 2018 if transparency of elections is guaranteed.
“If the elections are transparent, then PPP will emerge victorious and when it is elected to power, it will solve all problems faced by the country,” Bilawal said while speaking to party workers in Multan.
Taking jibes at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lifetime president Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Bilawal said that the upcoming elections are a matter of ‘life and death’ for the two.
“The coming elections are a matter of life and death for Imran and Nawaz. Both of them have a similar political agenda. Both of them only think about the elections, while I think about the future generations,” Bilawal stressed.
He added that to fulfill the mission of former PM Benazir Bhutto and to ensure prosperity, the public will have to walk hand-in-hand with PPP.”
Continuing his hits at Nawaz, Bilawal said that the former PM has “deceived the parliament, the public and he continues to lie.”
