KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country declined by $88 million to $19,941.8 million as on August 11, 2017.
According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, foreign reserves held by the bank stood at $14,310.5 million while those held by commercial banks stood at $5,631.3 million. The central bank said that the reserves decreased mainly due to payments on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
