LAHORE: Sacked prime minister Nawaz Sharif presided over a consultative meeting of PML-N leaders at his Raiwind palace on Tuesday to discuss issues ranging from his future political strategy to the by-election in NA-120 in Lahore.
Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and Hamza Shahbaz attended the meeting, according to sources.
The meeting decided that following the GT Road rally, the campaign against Nawaz’s ouster will be expanded to other cities and provinces, sources said. It was decided that Nawaz will address a public meeting in Multan ‘within 10 days’ as part of the drive.
