GUJRANWALA: PML-N Youth Wing Senior Vice President Kamran Khalid Butt said the government is working hard for the country’s prosperity. He added that problems faced by the citizens and traders are being solved as early as possible. He said that the opposition parties should not play such a role so as to destabilize the country with their negative politics and they should wait for the 2018 election to show their vote power. He said in Gujranwala many development projects have been completed included city flyovers and the Aziz cross flyover which will reduce traffic problems being faced by the citizens while all the main roads of the city have been carpeted. He said the Pakistan Muslim League government have overcome the energy crises and energy situation presently in the country is in a much better situation than the past while this issue would be solved completely in 2018. Separately, a mediation court established in the session’s court has become functional on Thursday, and it has also decided six cases on its first working day. Additional District and Sessions Judge Abdul Nasir Malik addressing the ceremony appreciated the proceedings of the mediation courts and said this system will not only give relief to the citizens but also will reduce the load of cases from the other courts. Judge mediation court Abdul Qayyum, said that a total of 18 cases have been received by the mediation courts of which six cases have been solved on the first day, after negotiation of both the parties. Citizens who contacted the mediation court also expressed their complete satisfaction over the progress and working of the mediation court and said this system would enable the citizens to solve their disputes without facing long court proceedings and would be free. Meanwhile, four labourers lost consciousness. It was said that two laborers Haq Nawaz and Ghulam Farid mistakenly ate granular fertilizer at Sehri and became unconscious here in Amart Pura, while Shoaib and Sajjad fainted due to the heat while working at a house that was under construction. All the four persons were rushed to DHQ hospital while the condition of Haq Nawaz is being said to be critical. Separately, a 15-year-old boy was tortured by the citizens for allegedly stealing utensils from a milk shop at Civil Lines. Muhammad Siddique was allegedly trying to steal the utensils from a milk shop when citizens held and tortured him.
