ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) directed the concerned departments to respond to the charges made in the case of the alleged kidnapping of Imran Sajjad.
Justice Mohsan Akhtar Kayani heard the plea by the petitioner’s council, who apprised the court on the case of his client who, along with his driver, was travelling to Sargodha from Islamabad on April 19, 2016 when they were kidnapped by unknown persons.
He informed the bench that a First Information Report (FIR) had been registered on the incident, however no action was taken by the police.
He requested the bench to decide the matter as soon as possible.
The bench after hearing the arguments issued notices to the respondents and adjourned the case till February 3.
