ISLAMABAD: Heavy rain triggered flash floods in which a woman was killed and seven others were injured inBalochistan.
The streams and nullahs overflowed because of the rain which continues to fall in various areas of Balochistan. According to media, the roads have also been submerged because of intermittent rain inthe province.
Due to the heavyrainfall, theroof of a house collapsed,while killing a woman and injuring five others in Kharotabad.
A seasonal nullah in Kalatalso claimed the life of a person.
Meanwhile, a vehicle was swept away causing one person’s death and two others to sustain injuriesin flash floods inChaman.
In addition,the Balochistan government has issued a travel advisory to citizens due to the forecast of heavy rains in the province.
A rescue process has also been initiated in flood affected areas with heavy machinery transferred for use in the rescues.
