LAHORE 211; Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sindhu has said that minorities have equal rights under the Constitution of Pakistan.
He was addressing a meeting of Minority Advisory Council, here on Tuesday. The meeting reviewed matters regarding properties of minorities and Minority Rights Commission. The meeting was informed about problems relating to properties of minorities.
The minister said that legislation would be undertaken with regard to propertities of minorities and its ownership, while the problems would be resolved under a mechanism.
The minister informed the meeting about the progress on laws regarding minorities. The minister assured the meeting that problems of the minorities would be resolved on priority basis.
